Payment is due at time of service for any appointments, diagnostic tests, medications, etc. If your pet is having surgery we will provide you with a surgical estimate. We require 50% of the estimate as a deposit on the day of surgery. The remaining balance is due when your pet is discharged from the hospital. Payment options include cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
We also accept CareCredit, a healthcare credit card. For charges over $200 we participate in the no interest option if paid in full within 6 months. If you are interested in applying for CareCredit, please visit their website.
At VSCP we are happy to help you with any insurance pre-qualification, submitting claim forms, etc. We are set up to process Trupanion claims through their direct payment option after your procedure has been approved. That means you pay for your consultation and your 10% co-pay and Trupanion pays their 90% directly to the hospital, no waiting for reimbursement. Trupanion is a Seattle based company, so it is the company we work with the most, but we can help with VPI, Pet’s Best, Pet Plan, etc. We know that veterinary pet insurance helps families afford advanced medical care and want to make the process as easy as possible for our clients.
